Rail Guru website redesign and digital strategy

Challenge:

Rail Guru were interested in creating a new online presence to sell tickets and passes for rail transport networks worldwide.

Solution:

While the Studio team came up with the brand concept, my role in this project was not only to coordinate the Digital team to design the new website, but also provide the full UX analysis and necessary documents to deliver an innovative way to book tickets online, and implement a user interface to suit both desktop and mobile access.

Outcome:

The resultant brand exudes freshness, with a hint of attitude; the website interface shares a similar intent— to ensure the user’s booking process is as easy as possible, but at the same time, display info both comprehensively, and logically. The natural benefit is an improvement in site conversion rates, allowing for further targeted marketing opportunities.
